Spring portrait Session with Kaylee & Elijah

It always brings a special kind of magic to see past clients grow up! This past weekend, I had the incredible pleasure of photographing sibling portraits for Kaylee, now a sprightly 13-year-old, and Elijah, a full-of-life 10-year-old, at the beautiful Sherwood Gardens in Baltimore, Maryland.

Eight years ago, I first met this amazing family during a fall mini session. You can see those photos on a previous blog post here. Back then, little Kaylee stole the show with her radiant smile and adorable giant bow. It was clear from that very first click of the shutter that these were special kids.

Fast forward to this spring, and the magic was still there! Sherwood Gardens was bursting with vibrant tulips in full bloom. We found several perfect nooks throughout the park, creating the perfect backdrop for capturing Kaylee and Elijah's infectious springtime joy.

Honestly, these have to be two of the most photogenic kids I've ever had the chance to work with. Their laughter and genuine connection with each other made my job an absolute breeze. Of course, a little nudge in the right direction never hurts! Let's just say their parents, Rosa and Brent, may have been making some silly faces behind the scenes to keep the laughter rolling. I half-jokingly told Rosa I might need to hire her on as my official "laughter wrangler" for future sessions!

It was a heartwarming reunion, and I'm so grateful to have been able to capture another special moment in Kaylee and Elijah's lives. Here's to many more happy memories for this wonderful family!
